أدى الملك محمد السادس، صلاة عيد الفطر المبارك صباح اليوم الأربعاء، فاتح شوال 1440، بمسجد أهل فاس بالمشور السعيد بمدينة الرباط.
وقائع صلاة العيد التي بثت مباشرة على أمواج الإذاعة وشاشة التلفزة ابتداء من الساعة العاشرة والنصف، أعقبها تقبل الملك التهاني من رؤساء البعثات الديبلوماسية الاسلامية المعتمدة بالمغرب.
وصلى إلى جانب الملك رئيس الحكومة سعد الدين العثماني، وولي العهد مولاي الحسن والأمير مولاي رشيد، بالإضافة إلى رئيسي البرلمان، الحبيب المالكي وحكيم بن شماش.
