تحذير من خبراء بشأن وضع الأدوية في المكان الخطأ

تنصح شركات الأدوية بحفظ منتجاتها في أماكن محددة بحسب طبيعة تلك الأدوية ومكوناتها، لكن كثيرا منّا يعتبر الثلاجة هي المكان الافتراضي لجميع الأدوية وهو افتراض خاطئ، ويزداد الأمر سوءا عندما توضع الأدوية في ثلاجة الطعام.
ويوضح خبراء أن بعض الأدوية لا تحتاج إلى الحفظ في الثلاجة، لأن الماء الذي يتشكل من جراء هبوط درجة الحرارة قد يسفر عن ضياع فعالية الدواء.
لكن الأمر لا ينطبق على جميع الأدوية، فحسب موقع "هيلث إكسشانج"، فإن ترك بعض أنواع الأدوية في حرارة عادية قد يؤدي إلى فقدان الصلاحية والنجاعة، كما أنه قد يحيله عنصرا ساما ينذر بعدة متاعب صحية.
ومن بين الأدوية التي تتطلب الحفظ في الثلاجة، الهرمونات المستخدمة في عملية الإخصاب الطبيعي خارج الجسم، فضلا عن الأنسولين الذي لم يجر فتحه بعد، وتحتاج بعض اللقاحات إلى التجميد الكامل.
ثلاجة الطعام
لكن حتى الأدوية التي تحتاج إلى جو بارد يجب أن لا توضع في ثلاجة الطعام، ويقول خبير الأدوية، كينيث واينبرغ، إن حفظ الأدوية في ثلاجة الطعام غير مقبول من الناحية الصحية، وبالتالي، يتوجب أن تحفظ العقاقير في ثلاجات خاصة بهذا الغرض.
ويوضح أن مختبرات صناعة الأدوية لا تسمح بالأكل ولا الشرب ولا التدخين في الأماكن المخصصة لإنتاج العقاقير لمنع أي تداخل بين مكونات الأدوية والمشروبات والأطعمة.
