شارك المئات من المتطوعين، على مدى ثمانية أشهر، في حملة لتنظيف مقبرة باب اغمات بسيدي يوسف بنعلي، أكبر مقبرة على مستوى مدينة حمراء، بمبادرة من جمعية النجاح للتنمية السوسيو-ثقافية والاجتماعية والبيئية والرياضية، بهدف ترسيخ الوعي البيئي لدى المجتمع المحلي وتنمية مسؤولية المشاركة في الأعمال الاجتماعية التطوعية.
وقد شملت الحملة، التي نظمت على ثلاث فترات متفرقة تراوحت بين شهرين وثلاثة أشهر، إزالة النفايات وتقليم الأشجار وإزالة الأعشاب الضارة بين القبور وإعادة ترميم عدد من القبور المهترئة.
وأكد رئيس الجمعية أن طلب الحصول على الترخيص لهذه الحملة لم يكن بالأمر السهل، وقد اعتمدت الجمعية على مواردها الخاصة دون أن تتلقى أي دعم من جهة أو أخرى، في حين وفرت شركة النظافة السابقة، حاويات ضخمة كانت تنقل المخلفات والنفايات التي يتم جمعها بشكل دوري.
