‘ناسا’ تتحرك سريعا لتأكيد ‘الحياة’ على كوكب الزهرة

وكان فريق بحثي دولي كشف، الاثنين، عن دلائل على احتمال وجود ميكروبات في سُحب كوكب الزهرة شديدة الحمضية، تتمثل في آثار لغاز الفوسفين الذي تنتجه على الأرض بكتيريا تنتشر في البيئة الخالية من الأكسجين.
وقدم هذا الاكتشاف دليلا قويا على احتمال وجود شكل للحياة خارج الأرض
وفي فبراير، وضعت ناسا قائمة قصيرة بها أربع مهمات مقترحة تدرسها إحدى لجانها حاليا. وستطلق مهمتان منها مسبارين آليين إلى كوكب الزهرة.
والمهمة "دافينشي" واحدة من هاتين المهمتين وسترسل مسبارا إلى الغلاف الجوي للكوكب.
وقال ديفيد جرينسبون، عالم الأحياء الفلكية الذي يشارك في مقترح مهمة دافينشي+، لرويترز الثلاثاء "دافينشي هي الخيار المنطقي إذا كنت تريد متابعة هذا الأمر.. لأن الطريقة الوحيدة لذلك هي الذهاب إلى هناك ومعرفة ما يدور في الغلاف الجوي".
ولم يكن البحث عن أي شكل للحياة في مكان آخر في المجموعة الشمسية يركز على كوكب الزهرة من قبل. وفي يوليو، أطلقت "ناسا" مركبة من الجيل المقبل للبحث عن آثار حياة، ربما كانت في الماضي، على كوكب المريخ.
