المباراة وطيلة دقائقها التسعين غلبت عليها الحيطة والحذر، إضافة إلى التخوف خاصة من جانب أصحاب الأرض، الذين تراجعوا للوراء تاركين السيطرة كاملة للضيوف، حيث كانوا قريبين من انهاء الشوط الأول لصالحهم، لولا التسرع وغياب النجاعة الهجومية، لينتهي الشوط كما بدأ.
المشهد الثاني لم يكن مغايرا لسابقه، حيث وبالرغم من التغييرات التي أقدم عليها ميمون المختاري لإعادة التوازن لفريقه والبحث عن الانتصار، إلا ان الفريق الرحماني ظل مسيطرا، ليترجم ذلك بتقدم في اخر دقائق اللقاء، بعد تحصله على ضربة جزاء نفذت بنجاح، وبينما كان الجميع ينتظر صافرة النهاية من الحكم صبري، باغت المهاجم اوشن الجميع بهدف التعادل بعد نهاية الوقت الأصلي، ليسدل الستار على المباراة بلا غالب ولا مغلوب.
نتيجة التعادل جعلت الفريقين متساويين في عداد النقاط برصيد 28 نقطة في المرتبة ما قبل الأخيرة، وأبقيت عليهما معا معنيان بحسابات السقوط لقسم الهواة، حيث باتا مطالبين في اللقاءات القادمة المؤجلة، إذ يملك الكوكب لقاءين، وجاره الشباب لقاء بتحقيق الانتصار للابتعاد عن المنطقة المكهربة.
