قال أليخاندرو كامانو وكيل أعمال المدافع المغربي أشرف حكيمي إن المدرب الفرنسي لنادي ريال مدريد زين الدين زيدان تسبب في رحيل اللاعب إلى إنتر الإيطالي.
وقال كامانو -في تصريحات نقلتها صحيفة المنتخب المغربية- « زيدان هو سبب انتقال حكيمي لإنتر، يجب عليه أن يشرح كيف انتقل حكيمي؟ وهل اتصل به؟ ».
وأوضح أن مدرب إنتر تواصل مرارا مع حكيمي خلال الفترة الماضية، وأضاف « حين يتصل بك مدرب من قيمة عالية مثل كونتي ويصر بقوة على التعاقد معك، فهذا دليل على أنه يريدك في فريقه وتمثل قطعة مهمة في مشروعه ».
واستبعد كامانو عودة حكيمي إلى ريال مدريد في الوقت الحالي بسبب وجود الإسباني داني كارفاخال، واعتبر أن حكيمي اتخذ خطوة إلى الأمام وسيكون مستقبله ساطعا.
وكان زيدان قد برر في وقت سابق التخلي عن خدمات حكيمي بأسباب « رياضية واقتصادية »، في إشارة إلى رغبة النادي الملكي في الاستفادة من المقابل المادي لانتقال حكيمي، وتفضيله كارافاخال على المدافع المغربي الشاب الذي يرفض العودة إلى الريال ليكون احتياطيا للمدافع الإسباني.
وحسمت صفقة انتقال حكيمي إلى إنتر مقابل 40 مليون يورو، ووقع اللاعب الذي أمضي العامين الماضيين معارا إلى بوروسيا دورتموند، عقدا يمتد ٥ سنوات مع النادي الإيطالي
