كشفت وكالة “بلومبرغ الاقتصادية” أن المؤتمر الجديد لبوابة الاقتصاد الإفريقي قد تقرر عقده بمدينة مراكش، وذلك خلال شهر يونيو من سنة 2023، بشراكة مع المملكة المغربية.
واعتبر مايكل بلومبرغ، أن المغرب يعتبر بوابة رئيسية للتجارة العالمية والعمل المناخي، حيث أشاد بما أجراه المغرب من إصلاحات عديدة لتحسين بيئة الأعمال، مشيرا أنه أصبح مركزًا إقليميًا للاستثمار الدولي، ومعتبرا إياه بالمكان المثالي لاستضافة الحدث.
وكشف مايكل بلومبرغ في حديثه، أن الوكالة تتطلع إلى توسيع نطاق المحادثات في المغرب، وكذا توسيع اجتماعات الوكالة للاقتصاد الجديد إلى إفريقيا، مشيرا أن الحدث سيركز بشكل خاص على الاستدامة والمرونة، والقضايا الحاسمة لمستقبل كل بلد، والتي لها أهمية خاصة للملك محمد السادس، اذ يتوقع أن يستفيد المجتمع العالمي من رجال الأعمال والقادة الحكوميين كثيرًا منه.
وسيجمع هذا الحدث قادة من القطاعين الخاص والعام لمناقشة القضايا الأكثر إلحاحًا في العالم وتقييم الحلول المحتملة في سياق الأولويات المحلية والإقليمية، حيث سيشمل ذلك تأثير تباطؤ الاقتصاد العالمي، وارتفاع أسعار الغذاء والطاقة، وصدمات سلسلة التوريد، وتشديد الأوضاع المالية، وتزايد مخاطر الضائقة بين المقترضين السياديين.
وكان عزيز أخنوش، رئيس الحكومة قد أكد أن المغرب يشرفه استضافة أول بوابة اقتصادية جديدة بلومبرغ إلى إفريقيا في يونيو 2023 في المغرب، مؤكدا أن ذلك يدل على الاعتراف الدولي بقيادة المملكة الإقليمية والقارية في ظل رؤية جلالة الملك محمد السادس.
