عاجل : نجاة سائق من موت محقق بعد أن اصطدمت سيارته بنافورة باب جديد
شهدت مدارة باب جديد قبل لحظات حادث اصطدام سيارة خفيفة بالنافورة المجاورة لفندق المامونية، بعد أن فقد سائقها السيطرة خاصة أمام غياب الإضاءة الكافية للنافورة وهو ما يجعلها غير واضحة تماما، الحادث تسبب في خسائر مادية جسيمة للسيارة و انفجار قناة المياه الخاصة بالنافورة حيث أن كميات كبيرة من الماء تسربت وحولت المكان إلى بركة عائمة .
يذكر أن المكان عرف مجموعة من الحوادث بسبب ضعف الرؤية لعدم توفر الإنارة الكافية للنافورة
