أدى سقوط شجرة ضخمة، صباح اليوم الخميس، إلى قطع طريق بزنقة المتنبي في حي المسيرة الثالثة التابع لتراب مقاطعة المنارة بمراكش، مما تسبب في توقف حركة السير لفترة طويلة.
ووفق المعطيات المتوفرة فإن الشجرة تهاوت لوحدها بشكل مفاجئ، ربما بسبب هشاشة جذوعها، بالنظر أنها قديمة جدا وعلوها جد مرتفع، ولحسن الحظ فإن الواقعة لم تسفر عن خسائر بشرية، فيما تعرضت سيارة من الحجم الخفيف كانت متوقفة بجانب الرصيف لأضرار طفيفة.
وقد التحق رجال السلطة المحلية وعمال الشركة المكلفة بتدبير قطاع النظافة بعين المكان بعد اخبارهم من طرف بعض المواطنين، لكن إلى حدود كتابة هذه الأسطر فإن الشجرة لا تزال وسط الطريق.
