بعث صاحب الجلالة الملك محمد السادس برقية تهنئة إلى رئيس الجمهورية الجزائرية الديمقراطية الشعبية عبد المجيد تبون، وذلك بمناسبة الذكرى السادسة والستين لاندلاع ثورة فاتح نونبر.
وأعرب جلالة الملك، في هذه البرقية، باسمه الخاص وباسم الشعب المغربي، عن أخلص التهاني وأصدق المتمنيات للشعب الجزائري باطراد التقدم والرخاء.
ومما جاء في برقية جلالة الملك ” ولا يفوتني، في غمرة تخليد بلدكم الشقيق لهذه الذكرى الوطنية المجيدة، أن أجدد الإعراب عن مدى تقديري لأواصر الأخوة الصادقة التي تجمع الشعبين المغربي والجزائري، مستحضرا، بكل اعتزاز، ملحمة التآزر والتضامن التلقائي الذي طبع فترة كفاحهما البطولي من أجل الحرية والاستقلال”.
