توقيع كتاب « صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن زايد آل نهيان: إضاءات في مسيرة رجل الإنسانية » لمؤلفه جمال سند السويدي
وفي كلمة بالمناسبة، قال مدير المعهد الملكي للدراسات الاستراتيجية، محمد توفيق ملين، إن هذا اللقاء يعد مناسبة لإبراز العلاقات التاريخية والاستراتيجية الاستثنائية التي تربط المملكة المغربية ودولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، والتي تجاوزت حدودها جميع المجالات والقطاعات، بما يجعل منها نموذجا متميزا للعمل العربي المشترك.
وأبرز السيد ملين أن مؤلف الكتاب، جمال سند السويدي، يسعى إلى تطوير وتعزيز العلاقات بين المراكز العربية للأبحاث والثقافة، حيث أطلق سنة 2015 مبادرة قيمة لتأسيس تحالف مراكز البحث والثقافة العربية، مؤكدا أن هذا التحالف « يشكل فرصة جوهرية لتبادل الآراء، وتعزيز مكانة الفكر في مواجهة التحديات المتنامية التي تشهدها الساحة العربية ».
كما يعد هذا التحالف، يضيف مدير المعهد، « خطوة مهمة من أجل اقتراح سياسات ذات بعد استباقي تسهم في تنوير دوائر صنع القرار الاستراتيجي في الدول العربية ».
وفي هذا السياق، أشار السيد ملين إلى أن المعهد الملكي للدراسات الاستراتيجية ساهم في إغناء النقاش الاستراتيجي داخل هذا التحالف من خلال مشاركته في جميع نسخ منتدى الفكر والثقافة العربية، وكذا من خلال حرصه على اقتراح توصيات عملية أمام الرهانات والتحديات التي تواجهها الدول العربية، مذكّرا بأن المعهد نظم نسختين من منتدى الفكر والثقافة العربية سنتي 2016 و2022.
ويشغل السيد جمال سند السويدي، وهو مفكر وكاتب وخبير استراتيجي، منصب وزير مستشار بديوان رئيس دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، نائب رئيس مجلس أمناء مركز الإمارات للدراسات والبحوث الاستراتيجية. كما يعد من الباحثين الذين لهم مساهمات علمية عديدة ومتنوعة، من خلال العديد من المؤلفات والمقالات والندوات.
