في إطار التفاعل الفوري بخصوص سرقة بالخطف على مستوى ممر الكتبية، تعرض لها مواطن أجنبي، قبل أن يلوذ الفاعل بالفرار بسرعة جنونية، وهو الأمر الذي تزامن مع تواجد عناصر الفرقة الحضرية للشرطة القضائية للمدينة العتيقة، والتي بعد القيام بالتحريات التقنية والميدانية تمكنت من تحديد هويته.
هذا وعلى إثر انزال صباحي تسنى إيقاف المعني بالأمر على مستوى أحد الدواوير المتاخمة لمراكش، بعد التنسيق مع الدرك الملكي لتسلطانت.
المعني بالأمر اعترف بالمنسوب إليه كما اعترف باقترافه لسرقات أخرى، ليتقرر إخضاعه لتدابير الحراسة النظرية لتعميق البحث معه قبل تقديمه للعدالة تحت إشراف من النيابة العامة المختصة.
