تم اختيار المنتخب الوطني المغربي لكرة القدم ضمن المرشحين لنيل جائزة لوريوس الرياضية العالمية صنف « الإنجاز المتميز للسنة »، بعد الإعلان، امس الاثنين، عن اللوائح المرشحة في مختلف الفئات لهذه الجائزة المرموقة.
ويتنافس المنتخب المغربى على الظفر بهذه الجائزة بعد أدائه الرائع وبلوغه المركز الرابع في بطولة كأس العالم قطر 2022.
وضمت قائمة المرشحين لهذه الجائزة ، إلى جانب « أسود الأطلس » كل من لاعب كرة المضرب الإسباني كارلوس ألكاراز و بطلة ألعاب القوى العداءة النيجيرية توبي أميسان ، والمتزلج الأمريكي ناثان تشين ، ولاعبة كرة المضرب إيلينا ريباكينا ولاعب الغولف الأمريكي سكوتي شيفلر.
