وقال كوشنر قبيل إقلاع الطائرة إن المغرب وإسرائيل يريدان تعزيز التقارب بينهما، مشيرا إلى أن الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب عمل على خلق سياسة مختلفة في الشرق الأوسط.
من جهته، قال السفير الأمريكي لدى إسرائيل ديفيد فيدمان إن ما يجري راهنا هو تغيير سياسي كبير في منطقة الشرق الأوسط.
ومن المرتقب أن يلي استئناف العلاقات بين المغرب وإسرائيل التوقيع على عدة اتفاقيات، بحسب برنامج الزيارة في الرباط.
وكان بلاغا للديوان الملكي أشار أن هذا الاستئناف يشمل تسهيل الرحلات الجوية المباشرة بين البلدين وتطوير العلاقات في المجالين الاقتصادي والتكنولوجي.
