أصدرت الوكالة الوطنية للمياه والغابات خرائط تنبؤ تحدد بدقة المناطق الحساسة والمعرضة لخطر اندلاع الحرائق الغابوية في المغرب، بهدف استباق ظاهرة حرائق الغابات على الصعيد الوطني.
ووفقا للمعطيات العلمية الخاصة بنوعية الغطاء الغابوي وقابليته للاشتعال والاحتراق، والتوقعات المناخية والظروف الطبوغرافية للمناطق، حددت الوكالة الأقاليم حسب درجة الخطورة، حيث وضعت إقليم الحوز ضمن المناطق ذات الخطورة المرتفعة (المستوى البرتقالي)، في حين وضعت إقليم الصويرة ضمن المناطق ذات الخطورة المتوسطة (المستوى الأصفر).
ودعت الوكالة إلى توخي الحيطة والحذر من طرف الساكنة المجاورة للمجالات الغابوية أو العاملين بها وكذلك من طرف المصطافين والزوار، الذين عليهم تفادي أي نشاط قد يسبب اندلاع الحريق كما عليهم إبلاغ السلطات المحلية بسرعة في حال رصد أي دخان أو سلوك مشبوه.
