شارك ثلاثة لاعبين من فريق شباب مراكش للريكبي، هم محمد حرسان وأشرف دراني ومحمد حدار، في التربص الإعدادي الأول الذي خاضه المنتخب الوطني بالمعهد الوطني مولاي رشيد بسلا يومي 10 و11 يناير الجاري، في إطار الاستعدادات للمشاركة في البطولة العربية لسباعيات الريكبي رجال (فئة الكبار) التي ستحتضنها مدينة الرياض بالمملكة العربية السعودية شهر فبراير المقبل.
وأعلن الاتحاد العربي للريكبي عن مشاركة عشرة منتخبات في النسخة التاسعة من هذه البطولة، هي الإمارات وتونس ومصر والعراق والمغرب وسوريا وليبيا والأردن وفلسطين، بالإضافة إلى السعودية البلد المستضيف.
ويشار أن المنتخب المغربي هو الأكثر تتويجا بثلاث ألقاب حصدها في ثلاث نسخ الأولى سنتي 2016 و2017، فيما يبقى المنتخب الإماراتي هو حامل لقب النسخة الأخيرة في سنة 2023.
