ويعالج العمل المسرحي الجديد لفرقة أنفاس موضوع الغربة وتداعياتها النفسية والاجتماعية على الشخصيتين طيلة اطوار العمل الفني، مع صراعات داخلية وطموح نحو العودة إلى الوطن وتحقيق الأحلام، وزيارة الأسرة والأقارب في قالب درامي حزين تارة، وتارة أخرى كوميدي يساهم في خلق فرجة استمتع بها ساكنة سيد المختار بدار الشباب التي عرفت حضور جماهيري كبير .
