وحسب مصادر مراكش7 فالحادثة تسببت فيها زوجة رئيس جماعة بمنطقة الحوز، والتى كانت متوجهة صوب مدينة مراكش، في حين أن الضحية كان متوجها لعمله في طريق سيدي عبد الله غياث، وتضيف مصادرنا أنه من المرجح أن السيدة فقدت السيطرة على سيارتها فلم تعدد تتحكم في سرعتها لتتجه صوب الرجل وتدهسه.
وأكدت المصادر ذاتها أن الرجل فارق الحياة في حينه، يشار أن مراكش7 سبق وأن نقلت شكوى مجموعة من مستعملي تلك الطريق، من أجل تحديد السرعة ووضع مدارات للحد من السرعة كونها تهدد حياة المواطنين.
