قالت شركة تويتر الثلاثاء، إنها تعمل على إضافة خاصية (تعديل) التغريدات منذ العام الماضي وستختبرها مع أعضاء محددين في خدمة « تويتر بلو » خلال الأشهر المقبلة.
وتأتي هذه الأخبار التي أثارتها تويتر لأول مرة في أول أبريل في الوقت الذي تواجه فيه الشركة تغييراً أوسع في الاتجاه بعدما أصبح إيلون ماسك أكبر مساهم فيها وانضمامه إلى مجلس الإدارة بعد التشكيك في التزام منصة التواصل الاجتماعي بحرية التعبير.
وكشف ماسك الاثنين عن حيازته حصة 9.2% في تويتر، وبدأ الاستطلاع حول هذه الخاصية التي طال انتظارها والتي تعمل الشركة عليها.
لكن تويتر ذكرت في تغريدة أنها لم تحصل على فكرة خاصية التعديل من استطلاع الرأي الذي بدأه ماسك.
كما حث رئيس تويتر التنفيذي باراج أجراوال المستخدمين على « التصويت بعناية ».
وقال جاي سوليفان رئيس المنتجات الاستهلاكية في تويتر عبر تغريدة، إن الشركة تعمل منذ العام الماضي على إضافة خيار التعديل، وهو « أكثر ميزة مطلوبة على تويتر منذ سنوات عديدة ».
وأضاف سوليفان أن هذه الميزة ستستغرق وقتاً لضبطها، إذ إنه « بدون أمور مثل الحدود الزمنية وعناصر التحكم والشفافية بشأن ما تم تعديله، يمكن إساءة استخدام التعديل لتغيير سجل المحادثة العامة ».
ويتمتع المشتركون في تويتر بلو بمميزات حصرية مقابل اشتراك شهري.
