عين الإتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم، الحكم الهندوراسي مارتينيز سعيد، لقيادة المباراة التي ستجمع المغرب وأوكرانيا برسم الجولة الثانية من دور المجموعات لمسابقة كرة القدم ضمن دورة الألعاب الأولمبية باريس 2024، بمساعدة مواطنيه لوبيز والتر وراميريز كريستيان، في حين أنيطت مهمة الحكم الرابع للحكمة الدنماركية كلاغلوند فريدا.
وكان المنتخب الوطني المغربي الأولمبي قد فاز بنتيجة هدفين مقابل هدف واحد في مباراته الأولى في هذه المنافسات والتي جمعته بالمنتخب الأرجنتيني، يوم الأربعاء الماضي، بينما انهزم المنتخب الأوكراني بنفس النتيجة في اللقاء الذي جمعه بالمنتخب العراقي.
وقد أنهى المنتخب الأولمبي، يومه الجمعة 26 يوليوز 2024 استعداداته للقاء الذي سيجمعه يوم غد السبت بالمنتخب الأوكراني، على ملعب « جيوفروي جيشارد » في مدينة سانت إتيان، بحيث ركز الناخب الوطني طارق السكتيوي خلال الحصة التدريبية الأخيرة على وضع آخر اللمسات على المجموعة.
