ولا زال الدريوش يحاول تجاوز آثار الهجوم الذي شنته العمدة فاطمة الزهراء المنصوري ضده، حين اتهمته بتفقير جماعة « تسلطانت » التي يرأسها والتي وصفتها بالجماعة الأغنى في الجهة، وقالت في تصريح شهير أن ساكنة الجماعة تضطر لتصريف الصرف الصحي عن طريق « الأسطل »، ليدخل الدريوش مع هذا التصريح في مرحلة خفوت سياسي زادت وطأته مع بيان ثلاثي سبق وأن صدر بتوقيع كل من حزب الأصالة والمعاصرة والتجمع الوطني للأحرار وحزب العدالة والتنمية وصفوه فيه بالتخلق بسلوكيات غير أخلاقية، مع اتهامه بتهديد الناخبين وترهيبهم، وقيامه باستغلال مشاريع من تمويل الجماعة في الحملة الانتخابية.
وعوض أن يسعى الدريوش إلى التكفير عن الخطايا السياسية التي يتهمه بها غرماؤه، انصرف إلى وجهة مجهولة ضاربا بعرض الحائط المسؤولية التمثيلية التي وضعها على علاقه الناخبون الذين نجح في انتزاع أصواتهم.
