تستضيف ملاعب المغرب، شهر أكتوبر المقبل، تسع مباريات ضمن الجولتين الثالثة والرابعة من التصفيات الافريقية المؤهلة لمونديال قطر 2022، منها اثنتان على أرضية ملعب مراكش الكبير.
وسيلعب منتخبا جيبوتي وبوركينا فاسو، ذهابا وإيابا، في مدينة مراكش، حيث ستجرى مباراة الذهاب لحساب الجولة الثالثة يوم 08 أكتوبر 2021، ومباراة الإياب لحساب الجولة الرابعة يوم 11 من نفس الشهر.
وجاء اختيار المنتخبات الافريقية لملاعب المغرب بسبب قرار الفيفا والكاف، بمنع خوض مبارياتها على ملاعب لا تتوفر فيها معايير الجودة والسلامة.
