بمناسبة انعقاد الدورة السادسة للجنة البرلمانية المشتركة بين مجلس النواب المغربي والجمعية الوطنية للكيبيك، يومي 14 و15 شتنبر الجاري، صوت أعضاء البرلمان الكيبيكي، بالإجماع، على ملتمس يعربون فيه عن تضامنهم التام مع المملكة المغربية ملكا وشعبا في هذه الظروف المؤلمة، وكذا عن اعجابهم بروح التضامن التي أبان عنها الشعب المغربي وروح المواطنة المترسخة لديه.
وفي مستهل أشغال هذه الدورة قام أعضاء الوفد البرلماني المغربي بحضور أشغال جلسة الأسئلة الشفهية بالجمعية الوطنية، حيث تم الوقوف دقيقة صمت ترحما على أرواح ضحايا الزلزال.
وأعربت ناتالي روي، رئيسة الجمعية الوطنية للكيبيك، عن أسفها للأحداث التي عرفها المغرب من جراء الهزة الأرضية، كما أكدت رغبتها في أن تستمر العلاقة الثنائية في تجسيد التعاون المتبادل لما يخدم المنفعة ومصلحة البلدين وشعبيهما.
